Today Reid learned...

All about our state flower! Well... sorta...
Dad was in charge of taking pictures and I was in charge of 'teaching' him about Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes.
"Ok Reid.... this right here is an Indian Paintbrush...
Now this flower here is blue... it is our state flower... and it is called the Bluebonnet." I was so proud! He was studying SO hard and we have a thousand (rediculous I know!) pictures to prove it. Then... just when I thought he was starting to learn all this new information...
"MOM! This is to much information... Stop!"
"I am done... throwing my hands up... I am only 6 months old and not ready to learn all this."
Just kidding! Our only goal was to get some handsome pictures of Reid in the bluebonnets. He did all that studying on his own. All we did was sit back and snap lots and lots and LOTS of pictures!

Poor guy was a little groggy because he had just fallen asleep in the car... but as always he was such a good sport!

A special thanks to Uncle Landry for telling us where the PERFECT spot was. Lots of beautiful flowers!!

Just off Hwy 79, right after you exit off of 287, going towards Petrolia. There's a good patch on the West side of the HWY, but there's LOTS of flowers in that area!
