Christmas 2011

This Christmas was a blast! Reid is at such a fun age for this time of the year. He loved all the Christmas lights and decorations!! Papa and nana even have a Reid size nativity set that opened up several conversations about the birth of our savior!

Patrick and I are so very thankful that we get the chance to raise and enjoy this precious boy! Merry Christmas and happy new year!!
Love,
The McCauleys!

Woody

Reid's new best pal is woody from toy story! We successfully collected all but buzz this Christmas!

Visiting Santa

This is as close as we got this year. Reid is so scared of Santa. He talks about wanting to see him but immediately changes his mind when he is anywhere close. Maybe next year!

So.... Our only Santa picture this year is with a huge fake Santa.... Still needed to be sitting in moms lap though.

Little Lil!

Reid got to spend Christmas even at church with this cute girl! They looked too cute in their Christmas outfits!

Bud the pony

Papa and nana got Reid his first pony this Christmas! He loves it! Feeds it everyday!!!

We have only ran into one problem. He thinks it doesn't like its carrot anymore and wants to feed it spaghetti. I don't think so!!

Santa Clause came!

Somebody must have been a GOOD boy this year! :)

All he wanted was "towboy boots"... and as you can tell our latest thing is Toy Story!

Can't wait to see his face!

Grapevine with the family!

Nothing beats a good family mini-vacation! Patrick and I got out of school Friday and headed straight for the Gaylord Monday morning with out favorite little two year old! We stopped for some Chick-fil-a then ended up at Grapevine Mills looking for Reid a Woody doll! He was SO excited! He kept telling us "me so sited mommy!"

After we got what we needed we headed for the Gaylord to do some site seeing! Reid loved the trains. Here he is posing with the trains and Woody of course.

He could have stood there for HOURS. He would watch and turn around everytime it passed to tell us that the train go round and round. It never got old!

Quick photo with Mom and the gingerbread house!

Another train.... he called this the big choo choo.

This was a huge Christmas tree right by Santa's chair. This is about as close as we got to Santa's chair.

I thought this was so cute. He looked TINY next to this tree.

We stayed the night there Monday night and ate with some friends at the Cantina. Our friend had a 3 year old little girl that Reid had a great time playing with! We woke up early the next morning (because Reid doesn't sleep past 6 o'clock...) and grabbed breakfast then headed for the Dallas aquarium.

This place was great! Nothing at all like what we anticipated. I am not sure who had the most fun.

Reid and Daddy watching the stingrays. He was on 1 mission to see the SHARKS!

So excited to see them swimming all around him.

We left Dallas with one tired little boy.

Cowboy Reid!

I never really pictured myself raising a cowboy. Patrick and I are about as non western as they come. But! Not our Reid! All he wants for Christmas is 'towboy boots.' He also spends a lot of time wearing his bike helmet and riding bulls on the arm of our couch.

If you look close you can see a horse pillow under his leg. He told me he was riding his horse. Great imagination!

Morning ride on his motorcycle... With his cowboy hat of course!

Last but not least just a normal night at our house. Reid running around in a cowboy hat and admiring the Christmas tree.

Baby McCauley!

We are so excited! The Lord is so graciously blessing us with a little girl coming in April! We cannot wait to hold her and watch Reid become a fantastic big brother!

Trick or treat!

Halloween this year was too much fun with this group! We met at Jodi and Brian's house for chicken nuggets and trick-or-treating! Savannah Johnson, Katelyn Camp, Reid, and Hayden Reed.... Parker wasn't interested in getting in the picture!

Another try... not a single one of them looking... still cute!

They are off!...
Reid caught right on. Luckily we had some older kids with us that showed him the ropes. He would say trick-or-treat and then check to see what he got!

Our scary old neighbor Kyle dressed up as a clown. He made Reid a little nervous! We sure do miss them!

Running to the next house!

We got home and the kids went straight to Kate's room to play. I heard Reid laughing hysterically at Hayden. Apparently Kate is pretending to be asleep.

Reid's cute buddy Hayden! Only one that would stop and pose for me!

Having to much fun jumping on the bed!Last stop... Nana and Papa's house!

Can't wait for next year!

Fred Flinstone

Cutest Fred Flinstone I have EVER seen! Big thanks goes to Nana for his precious costume!
