1st Hair cut!

March 12th marked a big day in Reid's life! We broke down and had to finally get his hair cut! The above picture is a before picture of his wild hair-do.
Holding on for dear life!... He did not let go of his grip the entire time.

There was an older lady sitting under the hair dryer in the corner. Reid basically stared a hole in her! I had to eventually move around to get a picture of his face. Of course she thought he was just about the cutest thing... we agreed with her!

Still keeping his eye on hair dryer lady!

The final product... what a trooper! He sat PERFECTLY still the entire time. The lady was super fast and got us in out in no time.

The only problem.... he looks so much older! :(

Bass Pro Shop

Of course we couldn't go to Ft Worth without a trip to either Cabellas or Bass Pro Shops. This was Reid's second time to go, but really his first time to be there and able to actually enjoy it.
He was sound asleep until I sat down by the fish tank and said 'whoa look!!'

Next he ventured over and found a new friend! He seemed a little confused why she was so still and quiet. He just kept staring at her! People walking by thought it was so funny!

So sweet... Holding her hand!

We spent the rest of our time test driving boats while daddy shopped around.

He couldn't narrow it down... But I assure you he took his time test driving EVERY single one!!

As we were leaving patrick said he loves that store and he could spend his whole annual salary there. Ha! Boys are funny!

Sink sit

Each morning while Patrick and I get ready for school Reid sits in the sink and brushes his teeth, stares at himself in the mirror, eats breakfast, and all kinds of other crazy things. Somehow this has become known as a 'sink sit'. Strangely it is one of Reid's favorite things! I asked him if he wanted a bath tonight and he said 'no!' and ran off. Next I asked if he wanted to 'sink sit' .... He ran over to the sink ready to go. So... This is how Reid bathed tonight... In the kitchen sink!!

Before he got out he had to give the pig a kiss! Sweet boy!

Can't wait

I planned on making some pizza for dinner tonight. Reid was standing in his chair ready to help me cook. I guess he just couldn't wait to eat it though....

I had turned around for about 2 seconds to get the sauce... This is what I found. Who needs toppings... Right?!?

Keeping him busy...

I think Reid has found his calling!

Play time at the park!

We are sooo ready for spring time here at the McCauley house! We take advantage of every single second of nice weather. Saturday we took a short walk up to the park! Reid has figured out that he loves this place and gets excited as soon as we round the corner! He couldn't get out of his stroller fast enough. He also couldn't decide if he wanted to eat the rocks or go slide...

thankfully he went with the slide!
Reid and Daddy about to go down the big slide.
1.... 2.... we are still working on 3!
GO! Waiting on Daddy at the bottom.
Mommy's turn!
Now time to climb. When he climbs he is super big and does NOT need help. Mr. Independent!
Stopping to rest...!
This slide was just sorta fun for Reid... I think he feels like it is for babies! haha!

This kid is ALL boy! He found a random brick and decided we would stand and throw it for awhile until he fell flat on his back :(
Thank goodness for the good 'ole Rangers hat! Saved that poor little head!

We were really trying to figure out what would be best to play on next...!
Another slide!

He decided he did not need Mom to go down with him...... which is why he ended up like this!
Oh ya!! Having SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Life is so sweet right now! We just love digging in the dirt, playing cars, going down slides, pushing lawnmowers, and everything else with this cute boy!
