Drivers Ed

Cruising in aunt T's car with Merse.

Favorite pass time.... Pretending to drive, dance, and talk on the phone. Who knows where he has learned this?!

Home away from home

Welcome to Market Street!

There is a horse right outside our all time favorite place to hang out. Patrick let Reid ride it last time we were there. He was pumped! He put on a great show for everyone!!!

Seriously?!

About 3 weeks ago we did it. We switched Reid to a toddler bed. This was hard (for me not Reid!) This made it official... he isn't a baby anymore.
This boy LOVES freedom and HATED his crib. We thought if we gave him the freedom to get in and out of his bed maybe he would like it more. We were right! The first night he was so giddy... the next night I was searching for the piece to turn it back into a baby bed!!!!!!!

He adjusted quick! A couple of nights down and he was a pro. He occasionaly makes his way to our bed around 4 or 5 but who cares! I LOVE to snuggle with him and so does Pat. As long as he stops before he is 18 we won't worry! :)

... and if you know Reid... he really does well to make it to 4 or 5 without Mom's hair!

Mowing with Daddy!

Reid got his first lawn mower from our friends Kevin and Mehgan for his birthday. As soon as Patrick starts mowing he runs to the garage to get his mower. Cutest thing!

Watching Daddy so he can learn how to mow in straight lines.

"Am I doing it right Daddy?"

Good job buddy! A couple of more years and Patrick will have himself a mowing partner!

Dinner date

Patrick was out of town most of last week. We missed him like crazy... But we took full advantage of our time together. On this particular night we (mostly Reid) sat down to eat some hot dog weenies. Sounds delicious I know! Here is my handsome man at the start of our dinner date...

Reid was being so big and using his fork! He picks the food up... Puts it on his fork... It falls off... Then he just decides to use his fingers. He does it over and over again. One day he will get it I just know it!

Oh! I said something funny!

"no no no Jake" - crazy dog was begging for our hot dogs!

Still making this cute boy laugh!

Milk break!

This is when all the serious conversations started!

I enjoyed this dinner more than Reid will ever know! He sat across from me and told me all kinds of stories. Each day he steals my heart more and more!
