14 months old!
Happy 14 month birthday to my little surfer!Reid!
You have totally out-done yourself in cuteness this month! We just cannot get enough of you! You are so friendly (giving high-fives and waving Hi and Bye) to everyone we meet! Your sweet little personality continues to melt our hearts each day. We love watching you grow into such a compassionate little boy.

Fantasy of Lights

Have yourself a merry little Christmas!
Christmas this year was way too much fun! Everything Reid saw he said "ooooh" with a big round face! Patrick and I laughed every single time! We started off our first Christmas celebration at our house with the McCauley side. We went to the Christmas Eve service at church and everyone came over shortly after. Reid was already exhausted at this point.... but he was such a trooper. In fact... this wild man didn't go to bed until after 11!
Reid's sweet cousin baby Carter. He is 4 months old... next Christmas these two will be unstoppable!
This starts Christmas morning. Due to his late night he slept in until about 9 (which was wonderful!!!) He woke up to a new lawnmower!! Check out his bed head.. love it! Not everyone looks this cute with bed head!
Checking it all out. I think he may follow in his Daddy's foot steps!
After Reid checked out all his new toys we went to Patrick's parents house to have Christmas with the rest of the family. Reid is ready to go!!

Our day wasn't over just yet! We came back home for our last Christmas with my parents! Reid discovered the bows!

13 months and growing...
It's that time again! My boy has turned a month older once again! I will be real honest. I used to dread the 'chair picture' because it has really gotten to be a fight. Not this time! Reid went and sat down in his chair.. smiled... got up to come look at the photo he just took... then went back to the chair for more pictures! I am so proud!

Happy 13 months sweet guy! You have turned into a little boy these past few weeks. You are saying 'hi mama' all the time! You also always say 'whoa!' Love listening to you learn new words! We are having so much fun watching you learn something new each day! I know you turned a year and I am supposed to stop here but I just can't! I promise I won't make you come home from college to take your monthly chair pictures though! :)

Clean teeth!
Reid had to make sure his breath was fresh this morning before he went over to play with the girls. It also made it a lot easier on mom with him being perfectly content sitting in the sink. I got ready for school in no time!

Even though you can see that Reid is banging poor Joseph's head on the roof of the stable, this still warms my heart. Can't wait to watch Reid learn the reason for this special time of year!

Halloween
Reid had a stomach bug on Halloween so he was not to into the whole trick-or-treating thing. That's ok... we have PLENTY of years to do that! We decided to stay home... Patrick carved a pumpkin and we passed out candy to all our cute neighbor friends! We attempted to take Reid around the block in the wagon but he was just not having it.
He would much rather sit at home and pretend to eat suckers! :)1 year check-up
This sweet guy checked out perfect at his 1 year appointment. Were we surprised? NO! He is so perfect and precious! He does have a fit from time to time... and he also bites his girlfriend but everybody has a bad day sometime.Anyway, he is weighing in at 19 pounds! He got four shots :(... that sure is rough on a mom. Breaks my heart to see that happen, but I know it is in his best interests! As you can see... the 4 shots didn't phase him for long.
Saturday mornings
Every Saturday morning while Daddy mows Reid and I snuggle up on the couch for a morning nap. It might be one of my favorite times!

October 27th, 2009..
A trip down memory lane...!
Our day started BRIGHT and EARLY at 4:30 a.m.! I don't think I got even one minute of sleep that night because I was so anxious! Pat on the other hand... he had no trouble at all sleeping until about the 4th snooze of his alarm!... and some things never change! :)
Big mama... at the time I thought I was doing so good... as I look back... WHOA! I wish someone would have told me that my face had blown up.
Patrick is hilarious. I think he was a little bit nervous!
Waiting for some action! We were both so anxious. Patrick was so anxious he went over and took a nap on the couch right after this picture..
At 4:04 p.m. we were able to meet our little 8lb 3oz bundle of joy. We had no idea what a treat we were in for. This is when all the fun began..!
So happy to meet his new world.
"hmm... where am I?!" - I am not sure I will ever forget that little face. We had a sonogram about a week before he was born and got to see some humongous lips in it. Right after he was born I asked Patrick... "How are his lips!?" What was I worried about? He is the most handsome little Reid I have EVER seen!

If anyone knows how to slow down the time please let me know! I will admit.. I got a little teary eyed looking at these- mainly because deep down I know that before I know it he will be going off to college.... and it better be MSU!
